Tomorrow is Deterg's last day...

To be frank, I've always felt he's not suitable for this industry...
But yet, when i found out about his resignation last week, i had a strange feeling..
Got a feeling of guilt for calling him Detergent all the time.. =S

I don't have anything personal against him..
even though I dont agree with some of his marketing ideas or methods,
he has never treated me or any of us with malicious intentions.
He is a decent guy..i guess

So... because of that, he deserves a farewell card from me...

A: Heyyy Steven.. This is for you (extends my hand)
S: Huh? Got something for me?
A: (shakes his hand) Yah hehe... All the best man..

Steven was surprised.. I bet he didnt expect a farewell card..
Sincerely wish he will have more joy elesewhere.. =)

little tots

Went to visit my nephew and niece, Jaja & Shasha after work today.. =D

Only Shasha was around as Jaja wasn't back from school yet...
And she was soooo happy to see me.. Hehe..

Isn't she adorable? =))

Despite not seeing me for some time, she still remembers
the "Jump jump" game that we used to play together..

"Ahmeeennn... jumpp jumppp~~~" she said in her baby voice.
Heheheh..

Then I decided to surprise Jaja by fetching him from school.. Heee
He was so surprised and became very hyper and ran around everywhere.. LOLS

Missed the little tots sooooooooooo much...
Love them lots.. =)

They didnt want to let me go when i wanted to go home...

Yvonne's Sure Happy Birthday =S

Yvonne told me the other day that she expected a better surprise for her
birthday than May Yee's and that she would be really angry if i re-used the birthday stuff...

Oh well.. it's a risk im prepared to take.. LOLS...
Because when one is disappointed, the feeling of a surprise later on will be even better.. =D

And so we pretended to really re-use May Yee's birthday "props".. =X

Yvonne requested for a Tamil birthday song from Kumar...
But he seemed a bit shy.. =0

In the end, im the one who taught him how to sing =S =S

We then ushered her to another room for the real surprise... =D

Yvonne: Yeaa.. this is good man! Finally my birthday is different from others..

Before everything started, me and Jason were talking about
"helping" Junwei buy flowers for her.. LOLS... WTH.. =X

I know what she really wanted for her birthday was a Coach bag...
So i designed her a Coach birthday card instead.. =P
Glad she liked it.. =D

Walk On El Nino, Walk In Carroll & Suarez

A few years ago, Fernando Torres was a wonderkid. A young super talent playing
for Atletico Madrid and at 19 years of age, their youngest ever captain.
His nickname was El Nino (The Kid in spanish). Now you know why im El Mino. =S
I was a big fan of him.

When one day his captain's armband revealed the words "We'll Never Walk Alone"..
it was like prophecy. It turns out that El Nino and his buddies supported Liverpool.
And they gave him that armband.

And during that summer when he joined Liverpool, I can't quite believe it.
He was linked to Man U and Arsenal and yet he joined us, a sleeping giant.
It was like my dream came true..

Liverpool fans well-known for our humour and creativity wrote him a song..

His armband proved he was a Red, Torres Torres.
You'll never walk alone it said..... Torres Torres..
We bought the lad from sunny Spain..
He gets the ball he scores again....

He was our idol, our hero.
But now he's gone.. to Chelsea, a rival club.

I was shocked when he requested for a transfer...
And im sure millions of other Liverpool fans were too..

This after claiming to know the history, the culture of LFC and that
he is committed to fighting for us to get us back where we belong..

What a sad day for the Reds.. He could have been a legend for us.
But now, he will forever be known as a mercenary, a betrayer.

Im quite optimistic about the signings of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez.
I have faith in King Kenny's ability to bring out the best in them..

I think Torres will regret leaving.. The grass is not always greener on the other side.
