Im definitely gonna miss the NCL.. the atmosphere, the emceeing..
I like to emcee actually.. It's fun! Sadly one of the mike is spoilt so i can't double-team
with Jason.. =/ I dunno why i get so "high" when I hold a mike, maybe because I love
to sing, so maybe the feeling is similar to when im wearing soccer boots.. Haha..

And i must say that even though i was the tournament director,

Yvonne did all the hard work and deserve a lot of credit..
I wish she will still be around for NCL 2011.. =)

He went for a SAY YES seminar and then it changed his life totally..
From a sad loner he became a happening guy just by saying Yes to everything..
Hahaha...

Well... today, me and two other heroes went to a Say No course.. =S =D

Look at the distance between us all... We need to build bonds..
LOLS.. ( Okok..im just randomly crapping)

Actually, I didn't want to go.. I had loads of work left to do at Feeko
and i rather go to work.. But in the end it proved to be a good decision by
the boss to send us there.. We had fun and learnt well.. =D

We had some roleplays..

Jason had to pretend to be a IT support officer attending to an impatient student..

Jason: ....we can repair your laptop after your tutorial ends at 1pm.
Girl: I don't care! That's your problem!
Jason: Ma'am.. This problem is between you and me..
Girl: We are not that close! So don't say it's a problem between you and me..
(And the whole class laughed..)

Lols.. it was obvious the "impatient student" did not know what to say..
Well in most real-life situations, sometimes when you're not thinking,
you really don't know what you are saying.. Jason did well though.

And then it was Mr.Ng's turn.. He pretended to be a nasty customer..
In fact, he acted so well that it was too good to be true.. =X
I think he showed the nasty side of himself really well.. LOLOLS..

Junwei: I pay $100 for one hour.. Now you're wasting my time!
Lady: Sir..the next customer is already waiting so we really need to let them play..
Junwei: Since they already wait for 5 minutes, why not you ask them to wait a little bit more!
Lady: Sir we already tried..
Junwei: I don't care.. Now im going back to the court and you ask your manager to come and talk to me!
Lady: Sir..the manager is not around sir..
Junwei: What's your name?! I will call your boss! I've been playing here for 2 years..

Fooooooooooo... Nasty Mr Ng...
He was so fierce that the whole class was taken aback..
The lady who was doing roleplay with him started to be nervous..
And she was actually supposed to be a boss from a company.. Wah..
Even the instructor said he can "feel it"... =S

All in all, it was good i guess to "take a break" from work and learn some "new skills"
The instructor was really good and met interesting people from different industries..

The new guy Melvin asked for our help yesterday..
Asking everyone to imprint our handprints on paperplates and then
write our dreams on it.. It was for a course that's he taking..

And then today... while i was walking into the office..

Melvin: (suddenly) Aminnn..
Amins: (sudden brake) Hmmm?
Melvin: Your dream can come true..
Amins: Hehhh????
Melvin: Work on your dream.. You can one la.. You can do it.. =D
Amins: Ermm..thanks.. (smiles and shows him a thumbs-up sign)

I don't know which dream he was referring to but... thanks for the encouragement. =)

Yes! One more week!!
One more week to the NCL finale~ =D

Soon... I will be leaving this place.
We've been busy with many events in the last couple of weeks and they made
me think back about the memories I've made in this ulu secluded place in the
west side of Singapore and how much I will miss this place...

I've met many wonderful people here in the last couple of years.....

Rated by many "experts" to be the most beautiful gal to have worked at Feeko ever. Lols..
Don't ask me about that though.. =X She used to call me Timothy because she says
"you look like a Timothy".. Until today I don't understand what that means.. =S
Hmms...maybe i should ask her someday..

"Sometimes Fiona will scold me, cos im a bit blur," was one of the things Junliang told me
on my first day. They were right about the blur part but I believe that sometimes
a blur guy can be moulded into a very good worker. A very nice and honest guy..

The first nonsensical girl here to click with me. Do you remember when you jokingly
told Junwei, "I don't miss you cos u are forever in my heart.."
He took it so seriously and was so happyy and smiley after that..
LOLS.. We used to tease him a lot about that..

A funny girl who seems to be happy all the time.
Update your blog more often lah Ali..

Probably the first reason why i survived my first few weeks at Feeko..
Still remember how she stayed behind until 8pm just to help me with my design artwork
and coming back to Feeko to help me out even though she knows she won't get paid..
And her "Jiayou" messages when i was taking my part-time degree classes.

A good-hearted girl who deserves a lot of happiness in her life. =)
Strangely, she's the only person here who i've never taken a proper photo with. =S

Formerly Fico's no.1 singer. She sang so well that she mesmerized Weimin with her voice.
Heheh.. Used to chat with her a lot. A very smart, understanding gal and a very good listener..

Another good person that i've met over here. Happy to have befriended her.
And very happy that she's with Weimin. =D

One of the very few people who has seen my real, silly, noisy, goofy, crappy side..
Even though things didn't turn out for the best, we shared something special once.
Glad that we are still friends. And you know that i wish you'll find happiness too. =)

A smart serious worker who turns into a crazy guy whenever we are not in the office.
"Will you woo Ivy if she's not married?" & "Did you sleep with your ex-gfs?" are examples
of the random questions he will suddenly throw at me when we are not at work.. =S

I remember he will suddenly fall asleep immediately after eating =S
& he used to say Fiona turns him on sexually whenever she's angry..
LOLS. Madness..

Another buddy that I've met here..

We used to do sliding football celebrations together (pretending that we scored goals and
then Weimin & Shawn will say GOALLLLLL~~~~) as soon as the bosses left the office.
Hahaha.. O well.. nobody will do those silly childish things with me over here again.. =/

Miss those times when we went for appointments together.
Some of the people we met are really funny.. =S =D

I still remember the last thing he told me before he stopped using MSN.

"You are a good friend, always trying to feel or read your friends' feelings and thoughts
and cheering them up. Im happy and glad to have you as a friend."

It was really nice of him to say that but what I didn't know was
that he was going to stop using MSN... Hmmmm...

I have to salute Weimin. His perseverance, patience and true love in the end touched Huiting's
heart.. This kind of drama storyline doesn't really happen in real life. Normally it's as simple
as... if a girl likes you then she likes you, if a girl don't, then she don't. But Weimin did it.. =)

This thing couldn't have happened to a better guy.

Weimin is a true friend, loyal, helpful and a real good guy..
He deserves the good karma that he has. =)

Probably my best female friend ever at Feeko. She's easy to get along with..
I don't have to explain to her in detail what im trying to say or what im joking
about.. She just knows. And she knows sometimes im a bit sensitive so she
would say sorry for little things like replying my messages late.

Even though im not THAT sensitive, i appreciate her thoughts and
the fact that she cares about my feelings. Hehes. She's smart that way.
Maybe it's because she's been through a lot in life and knows how people feel.

And Ivy shows that she trusts me a lot by confiding in me sometimes...
To be honest, I love people who trust me because faith and trust means a lot to me..

I feel that she is a good gf and I wish Mr.Ng will somehow someday appreciate that... =/

The most kind-hearted person i've ever met at Feeko.

When she found out I was mending a broken heart, she immediately set up an outing with
me & Kahleong and gave me a book to cheer me up. I was really touched and really
appreciated the gesture. Simo, you are someone I would trust my life with. =)

Remember i told you once that you would make a great teacher?
I knew my prediction would come true.. =)

Another good friend, my football coaching assistant and a very good worker.
A responsible guy who rarely lets anyone down. Feeko is an emo place but I've never seen
Nazri emo before.. which is good! He always seems to be happy. =D

Miss those times when we coached the M3diaC0rp artistes together..

The last time we battled on the pitch one-on-one, it was a tie.
I wonder when we can spar again.. Hmmm..

Our three Burmese bros. The first ever (and probably the last?) foreign office workers
in the company. Three different characters but they were all good in customer service.

Moe, the leader of the pack. He seemed serious at times. But he was always game for a laugh.
Thaw was the crappiest guy. Always talking dirty and always laughing all the time.. =S
Phyo was the playa. A Burmese hearthrob who is always thinking of dating girls. Hahaha.

They sure lit up our lives at that point of time. =D

JC-jie helped me a lot when i first started out. Really appreciated her advice and tips on
how to behave and react in certain situations.. Still remember the times she stayed
behind to help me out at the booking office and how she told Fiona that I had many
hidden talents. Enjoyed having "mature serious" talks with her and at one point of
time, I thought Feeko would never be able to replace her because she did such a good job.

One of my best buddies ever at Feeko. A good guy who trusts me..
Treasured those times when we bared our hearts to each other..
Junwei used to say we are gayish but I think he's just jealous because he has
never got into any true brotherhood kind of friendship with anyone. Sad jw.. =X

Anyways.. he's the first guy to make me a handmade card.. Lols.
A sincere guy who shares the same taste of humour and music as me. I would
definitely recommend him to my female friends if he was single. LOLS.

Funny how we were victims of Junwei's vulgarities back then and when Kahleong
finally resigned, he spent his last days criticising Mr.Ng and shooting him back.

"You don't know how to do this yourself ah?! F*** you Junwei F*** you!"

Me and Jason felt like rolling on the floor laughing at that point of time. Hahahahaa..

An independent girl who thinks maturely beyond her age..
Being overseas alone right now speaks volumes of her character.

Alicia is another kind soul. She was just earning peanuts but she spent a lot of
money to buy snacks for everyone in the office regularly.

"I must learn from you.. I want to be more sweet..
Somemore... im a girl." she used to tell me that all the time..

Great that she's adapting well at Swizerland.. She did well for us and
I've no doubts that this girl will forge a very successful career for herself.

Grace is like the sister or brother that I've never had..

She was there for me during my darkest hour. Accompanying me, listening to
what i had to say.. I just knew she's a good person and someone i could trust.

G has got this special ability of making people like her effortlessly. I guess wherever she
goes she will never find it difficult to build bonds with others. Im envious of her..
I told her before that I wished i had her boyish good looks and nice hair.. LOLS.

Speaking of hair, she trusted me enough to let me cut her hair for her.
That was a great indication of faith.. Hahaha..

Will you let someone who hardly cuts anyone's hair to give you a haircut? Well, exactly.

If people think im Mr.Softie, then they haven't met Rafa. =X

A pretty soft guy but another really nice guy. Not many people know this but he
actually used to like Grace and I strongly encouraged him to woo her. In the end, he didn't
though which is a big pity because I think they'd make a cute, sporty couple. Hahahaha..

Another good friend that I've made at Feeko and a very efficient worker.
Not afraid to give straightforward advice and nice to talk to..

She's very good at baking and cooking.
Soph you should exchange pointers with Meishan. She's good too!

Good to see that she & Kenneth worked out well in the end.
They proved a lot of us wrong. =X

The forever cheerful Meishan. Every office needs a cheerful person to complete the banter.
She surpassed JC-jie with her good work in her role until they called it "the Meishan role".

"We need someone for the Meishan position" Fiona said.

or maybe me & Junwei would say something like,
"Hmm..this person is suitable for the Meishan role.."

LOLS.. that's probably the greatest compliment.
To have a position at work named after you. =S =D

The person I learnt the most from at work. She probably started on the wrong foot with
everyone at work. Quite a few of us disliked her at first.. =X

But in the end, things worked out well. She understood our different characteristics and
adapted well. She eventually became a good friend and mentor to me and Jason.
We really miss her leadership and naggings. =/

Another close friend. Always bumped into each other in the LRT on the way to work
(because we stayed very near each other). And we somehow always stood at the same
position in the train.. Hahaha.. Was very very sad though when she had to go...
It was such a sudden shock.. Missed chatting with Minmin because she is
another person on the same wavelength with me and someone who does care about me.

A nice friend to have and someone easy to click with..

Another person who had an instant connection with me and
another person who stays in the same 'city'..

She used to say that she noticed me in the LRT before she even started working in Feeko.
Well I think i saw her before too. In the end found out that her elder sis was once
romantically involved with one of my buddies. This country is such a small place. =S

Pris is the only person so far to daringly play Facebook when Fiona is just next to her.. =S
Hahahaha..

My "clubbing buddy". Haha not that i go clubbing with him but he always has
funny clubbing stories for me. I mentioned before that i would miss his
interesting stories and I do now. When i think back, I remember that when
I first came for the interview at Feeko, he was the one in the booking office.

Amazing how fate deals its hand. Turning us from strangers to colleagues to good friends.
I miss every single one of em.... and not forgetting there were others like
Stacey, Jennifer, Daniel, Xinyi, Shauna etc..

Sometimes I wonder how it would be like if Feeko was a giant MNC and we still have
all the good people who used to work here still working for us. We could always use the
different skills that these different characters had to offer. That's just a dream I guess.

But still..... im glad to know that there are many good people in this world. =)
