i did it
Can't believe i did it.. Was nervous to be honest..
But somehow managed to push myself and step up to the plate..
Invading foreign land to complete my mission...
Grateful to Chris & Lynn for their help..
Could sense some unhappy eyes zooming in on me..
Felt v happy after i left...but soon after, started to feel bad cos i thought I got Chris into trouble... But then later on in the evening, he texted me saying everything was ok and he managed to dodge the bullets.. hehes..

Recently our local newspaper started a poll. Who is more good looking?

Spanish because of his boyish looks) eventually got 63% of the votes to beat the Portuguese playa as the favourite amongst local women (& men).
Well both of em are two of my fave players for a long time now...
And so, in the last edition of the Dragonscage, the guys were talking about this. Seva asked us for our opinion..
"Cristiano!" Fad answered without hesitation. (Maybe he is of his taste =S)
"Hmmm... tough choice ar Cristiano or Torres.." Siddiq answered.

Jurong East MRT.
Was waiting for the train and reading my Newpaper when an Indian man interrupted..
Indian man: Err...can i see the football pages?

Indian man proceeds to read the first 10 pages of the paper..
Amins: (thinks - '
hmmm...those are NOT the football pages...but aiyah nevermind' )
5 mins later...the train arrives. Amins looks at the Indian man...
Indian man: Yah!! yah!! Taking same train!!
Amins: Hmm ok.. ( =S )
5 or 6 stations later, the guy finally finished and hands it back to me..

Flashback Friday - AFCC2004
Late 2003, early 2004. It still ranks as the greatest achievement of my life.
Being (probably) the youngest recipient ever of the AFC'C' licence. It was something i really wanted to do and it wasn't easy at all.
These days, when people go for the course, the pro players are separated from the non-pros which honestly makes it a lot easier to pass for the public.
Makes me feel even prouder of the way how i did it.
I was still the super shy guy when i applied for it. In fact, i somehow forced myself to.
And i'm glad i did.
Still fresh in my mind how some of the professionals were really impressed by my coaching..
"Woah. You're good... you're damn good" =D
It's nice to know that the pros were really nice, down-to-earth peeps..
Sadly..lost touch with most of em... O wells.. Hmms... Funny how some of em were saying i was this up-and-coming young coach with a great future and yet right now i'm not even coaching... Hehs =S

The two negro guys - Patrick Mancha (former Cameroon international) who used to encourage me all the time & Usman (a big shot in a big company now)...
The two Brunei guys - one of em who is now the national team assistant coach...

It's really nice to know that at this age.. that qualities like that can still triumph over the superficialities of looks and money...

First hour or so it was soo quiet i can't take it anymore..

AD 2008

Felt it was really disappointing at the start.
Probably becos i wasn't in the right frame of mind to watch this kind of show. Was feeling emo-ey and suddenly im watching this prehistoric-era kind of film. =S
But yeah felt it was kinda boring at the start...
But as it went on, felt it was okay. There were a few funny scenes (intentional & unintentional by the producers of the show). Hehs..
I'll rate it 2.5 popcorns out of 5. =S
And an outing with my clique never fails to brighten up any gloomy day..
Tomorrow will be a better day...

kingdom of boredom
It was supposed to be a sleepy Tuesday as I was banished to the kingdom of boredom for the "Earn as You Learn" scheme.. =S
