Bye Xabi, Hello Alberto
During a training session over here, 20 fans wore the shirts bearing
"Xabi Por Favor No Te Vayas"
which means "Xabi, Please Don't Leave" in Spanish..
This showed how passionate we are about our team and
our players and how much they loved him..

But the inevitable has almost happened..
Xabi is leaving us..
Despite all the pleas, he has chosen to go...
And of course it's not that he didn't stop to think about the fans..
I guess he hasn't forgiven Rafa for trying to sell him to raise funds last season..
We have now lost arguably the best passer in world football..
The orchestrator of Liverpool's midfield music... Sigh..
Well, at least, he has done it the Liverpool way,
with grace, honour and on very good terms..
We'll miss all your spectacular long-range goals and superduper long passes..
