Okay..here's a sample of how one of my friends took the news...
A part of me wants to hate him for moving to the
enemy.
But another part of me can understand his reasons for doing that.
It's a prestigious club and next year being a World Cup year he needed to be in the England manager's thoughts.
A part of me wants him to stay fit and healthy to prove his doubters wrong because in a way I grew up watching him play and adored him as I watched him blossom from a teenage sensation to an international star..
But another part of me wants to hate him and want him to be a
flop...
After all, he once did a "jump ship" on us during the final year of his contract and ran off to Real Madrid when Liverpool were still in a rebuilding stage.. And now this..
